The JAM3000 CTPT model is a smart three-phase meter with a primary connection. It is primarily used in power plants and distribution and transmission substations where voltage and current levels are very high. This model is designed in two accuracy classes, 0.2S and 0.5S. The 0.2S model is also known as the GRID meter or electricity market meter, where precision is extremely important as even small errors can lead to significant financial losses for sellers or buyers of electricity. The communication module is modular, allowing for the installation of GPRS, G3, or PRIME PLC modules.
